Where Did You Get The Dappleton Name?

Our family has been obsessed with the dachshund dog for years, and a dapple is a classically spotted version of the breed. Dappleton is play on words, referencing the dog, while dedicating the design and feminine feel of the hotel to our current dachshund, Gemma. (Fun fact: even the carpet style below the guest room beds was chosen to mimic her fur pattern)

Where Do I Park?

Street parking is available along 1st Street, as well as a public parking lot behind our back entrance. (Please note: if parking overnight along 1st Street, street sweeping is provided by the City of Hermann between 1:00am-7:00am on both Mondays and Tuesdays)

What Is There To Do In Hermann?

Hermann is most known for its rich German heritage, picturesque landscape, and impressive wine production. We suggest checking out www.visithermann.com for a current event schedule and local business hours. (Don’t forget to check out our neighboring restaurant, Doxie Slush, for artisan frozen cocktails and coastal-inspired eats)

Is Your Property Wheelchair Accessible?

All three guest rooms are located on the second floor, therefore no ADA compliant features are available at Dappleton Hotel at this time.

How Often Will Housekeeping Be Visiting My Room?

Due to the contactless nature of our property, your privacy is of our upmost importance. Daily housekeeping is not provided for stays two nights or less, however we are happy to get you extras of anything you may need. For stays of three nights or longer, if you would like your room cleaned, please arrange a time at check-in.

Can You Help Me With My Luggage Or Hold My Bags?

Dappleton Hotel staff is here to help at any time. Contact us upon arrival to get your bags up to your room with ease, or to have us stow away luggage when needed.
